The Western Pennsylvania Veterans Relief Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families throughout the region. The fund provides critical financial assistance to help with housing, medical needs, transportation, and other essential services for veterans facing hardship. By addressing urgent needs, the organization ensures that those who served our country receive the support and respect they deserve.

The Mustache Challenge winner, #7 Chase Malloy, was recognized for his stellar mustache-growing efforts, which helped bring awareness to the cause.

Sheriff Fyock, a dedicated advocate for the Veterans Relief Fund, has actively supported initiatives such as coordinating their annual marathon, while Lieutenant Colonel Davis serves as a board member for the organization, furthering its mission to aid local veterans in need.

Over the past six years, the Crimson Hawks have collectively raised $11,654 through the Mustache Challenge, showcasing their ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those who have served our country.

The team extends heartfelt thanks to all who participated and donated, making this year’s challenge another resounding success. Together, the IUP Men’s Ice Hockey team and their supporters continue to make a meaningful difference for Western Pennsylvania veterans.
