The IUP hockey team is proud to announce a special event: the Cure Mito Game! This thrilling face-off will feature our very own IUP team going up against the CHMA rival Kent State.Â
But this game isn’t just about the excitement on the ice—it’s about coming together for a cause that’s close to our hearts. We’re rallying for a young fighter named Xander, who’s battling Leigh Syndrome, a rare and challenging mitochondrial disease. Though Leigh Syndrome may be tough, it hasn’t dimmed Xander’s incredible spirit, and we’re here to keep that flame of hope burning bright.
